// HOLIDAY EVENT_ ![]() The holiday party log is now LIVE! You're welcome to start posting whenever you'd like, but please remember this is not ICly happening until December 24th. Feel free to get creative with the information provided! There will be two aspects of the party that will require sign ups, so read below to find out more information! If you have any questions after reading the entire post, please ask them below. Otherwise, you're welcome to use this post for plotting amongst yourselves! ❆ Plot The first sign-up is a piece of plot-relevant information! This information will be overheard by one character, who can then ICly disseminate it as appropriate, whether that's at the party itself or in posts and logs after the fact. ❆ Ice Maze The second sign-up is for the ice maze! Characters will be required to enter in groups of two. Before they enter, a helpful member of the party staff will supply them with visors. These are to be worn at all times within the maze. Taking them off prior to crossing the threshold of the exit will terminate the experience. |

The courtyard is huge and right now it's filled with a profusion of colorful tents and vendor stalls. There are people selling jewelry, garments running the gamut from commonwear to the gowns and doublets one might see at court, weapons and armor, and food. There's food everywhere.
Outside the castle walls, there's jousting and archery contests. There are displays of falconry and horsemanship. There's hand to hand combat. There's dancing. And there's a dragon that's going to descend on the castle in three...

Everything in the maze will look, feel, sound, taste, and smell like the real thing. If they last the full twenty minutes without taking off their visors, they'll find themselves at the end of the maze regardless of which path they took. Upon exiting, they'll each be given a purple pennant with a griffon emblazoned on it, possibly recognizable as the crest of the kingdom they've just visited.
Using this scenario, please feel free to have whatever medieval times-inspired experience you'd like!
