// CR/FRIENDING MEME_

// CR/Friending meme_

Welcome to the game! We hope you enjoy yourselves here. This meme will go up with every app cycle and it serves two functions.

First, it will allow players to introduce themselves to each other and explain a little bit about the characters they're bringing to the game.

Second, it'll be our CR/Handwaved CR meme. You can discuss how your characters meet, plot things you'd like to do in the future, and whatever else you'd like.

Handwaved introductions aren't mandatory! You're absolutely welcome to thread these things out via logs or network posts if you'd prefer. We are just offering players a chance to skip over the seemingly endless loop of small talk in Intro Hell and jump right into the thick of things.

Please fill out the form below, check out other peoples' comments, and have fun with one another!

i mean in turn he'll have to hear victor talk about his dog and yuuri and possibly half the people he knows from home but uh LOOK, IT'S ALL LOVE

Both one and three ostensibly involve talking with people on ship to get as many stories as possible to compare and come to conclusions, as well as seeing what other info they can dredge up... clenches fist! Given his temperament, how would you say Maes would approach crewmembers in order to ask questions related to the captain/the ship goals? Like hm. What kind of questions do you believe he'd ask (doesn't need to be specific, it can be a theme of what he'd ask after) and in what manner? Chat them up at dinner, talk in the elevators, etc.?

Maes's approach would probably be slow -- chatting up guards and being friendly with them. Buy'em a drink, ask about their family, anything to make them not see him as a threat. He'd gush about his own family too to help ease their suspicions (if there were any to be had). Since it'd be a slower approach, he'd probably also focus on one or two guards specifically so he could build that rapport with them. Eventually he'd probably start fishing for information about the hierarchy here since he was military himself, pose it as a "let's talk about how much it sucks to be a foot soldier" and things like that. So he'd probably be finding out how everyone is ranked, who reports to whom, and then maybe try to start asking after the captain himself.

Perfect, this is exactly what I wanted to know. In this case, I'm guessing it might be crewmembers who work on security detail, but essentially the equivalent of guards. Wonderful, thank you so much!

That sounds like about what Maes would go for. o/ Glad I could get involved.
