Yes...it's going to be bad. But he's also going to be hiding it and masking it by adopting EVERYONE. So, yeah, totally this can happen.

OH MY GOD NO ONE EVER WANTS TO LISTEN TO HIM GUSH ABOUT HIS FAMILY.

I also plan on getting a Maes post up soon -- figure he wouldn't hang around the medbay long and he is going to be roaming all over because he has never seen any of this stuff before.

But family is REALLY important to clary, she spends the entire first season constantly being like "what about saving my mom tho???" so she's totally willing to just sit and listen to him gush!
