☆ CHARACTER
Name: Jace Wayland. His surname is kind of a sore point right now.
Canon: Shadowhunters, Season 1 Episode 13.
Age: 20ish.
Powers: He's a Shadowhunter. This means he's descended from angels, can use angelic weapons and objects, and can brand runes onto his body which look like tattoos and give him special powers. He also naturally has something called the Sight, which lets him see through magical disguises and glamours. Please check out his permissions post here!
Job: He writes greeting cards, which is hilarious. He's already trying to get out of it, but I'll be making him stick with it for a while!

Handwaved CR: Sure, if you'd like. Jace has only just arrived, though, so I'd like to thread out at least initial meetings with your characters so I have an idea of how he'll react to them.
Likes: Training, being the best, flirting, winning, being in charge, bending the rules, succeeding, fighting demons. He's highly competitive, I apologise in advance.
Dislikes: Talking about his feelings, losing, being told what to do, being pulled here in the first place (he'll get over it) (maybe), failure.
Hangouts: The training rooms, most often. They'll be where he's most comfortable. Also he'll probably
CR wanted: Sparring partners! Especially superpowered ones, since (at least initially) he'll prefer practicing with them to people without powers. It feels lazy to say I'm open to anything, but I literally am - he's brand new, he needs friends, enemies, frenemies. Jace is used to a pretty strict world where he hasn't spent a lot of time around normal humans doing normal things. This is going to be a culture shock in more ways than one.

Yes absolutely! They'd have some things in common by the sounds of it, and he's definitely not too weird! Weird is probably a good thing where Jace is concerned. It's the regular guys who'll seem strange to him. I'm down!

I am totally canon blind to Jason but I already think their thread is hilarious. I'm definitely interested! It won't take Jace long to start looking for sparring partners. Is Jason powered at all, or is he a regular human? Jace will be a little more wary of sparring with regular guys in case he hurts them, but he's well enough trained to be careful too!

i'm sorry he is just a walking disaster on at least five different counts. but um... kind of? he's not like another captain america or anything but, he's got this literal mystical tat on his arm that makes him harder, better, faster, stronger. he could hold his own for a while but jace would wipe the floor with him. unfortunately i have no self control so i have a vast assortment of various different types to offer for sparring if jason doesn't work. so outside of half-mystical jungle guy there's a mage and a dude who is basically a super soldier. the others are just normies who would wilt. just gently lays everything at your feet.

Oh no Jason works! They'd actually all work, and please expect me to be all over Dorian too! But Jason would definitely interest him, especially with his tattoo. That's not dissimilar from one of Jace's runes, he'd want to know where that came from probably. I'm definitely down for cr with them!
