I love how you say that and my first thought is "if the right motivation is 'make friends' does it count" BUT GOOD I have a sense from reading his tags how he corrals conversations with others, but specifically -- starting with investigating the crewmen, do you have a general idea of what he'd do/how he'd go about that right now?

i mean...
he has a gun.......... he can threaten...... HKAJSHDKJFH he's not very menacing though.. and he prob wouldn't like to go that route.. lies down..
He's a nice guy but he's surprisingly really suspicious of what's going on here because he wants to get back to his family so badly.

Laughs, but it's a good motivation and such. Victor and Yuuri have been tracking how answers have had subtle changes/differences in "how to get back" or "where did you come from" -- Karamatsu asking more people one on one even "how do you go about leaving this ship for fairer waters, more divine realities that lie in our homes of our hearts" or asking about alternative ways of creating an anomaly that works reverse to the ones of the engines -- is that anything you'd think (possibly with coaching) he'd be willing to try and talk to crew about?

............... i'm sobbing, to whatever level of success. I'm also very game to partner him up for these kinds of chats, this is more getting a feel for what breadth of approaches I'll be writing up for the plot submission!

are you sure you don't roleplay Karamatsu without realizing it? HKSJHDKJF???

AND YEAH, absolutely! Karamatsu isn't too much of an action hero, but he's a fantastic actor. He really does show a lot of confidence and does well at concealing his nervousness even if he isn't.. a very threatening guy?

Though, believe it or not, he's got a sudden temper / serious side. It kind of builds up from being pushed around.

Partnering up is fine too!

being an actor in this case is really what we need, so he's perfectly suited for these things. with that established, would he be as poetic as always in talking with the crew and looking for answers on disappearances and/or "by the way how does one get in touch with the captain/does he show himself ever/what did it take for you to join the crew/etc"? so that I know how best to frame his approach to this!

Now I want to see his temper emerge, tbh. Makes sense that he has a breaking point that he gets up to before snapping entirely

YEAH HE'S BASICALLY LIKE THIS... all of the time..
in all of the game apps when he talks it's usually written mostly in kanji... HAKJSHK so his speaking is very .. flowery..

me too.. it's always fun to play out, but it's really hard for it to happen..

i'm up for that with whoever!
