Because the Trilk are sapient beings, the crew of the Eluvio will not condone taking babies away from their families and homeworld. If the team attempts to bring a baby Trilk on board, they will be turned away and told to return the baby immediately or face charges of abduction and possible confinement in the brig for their transgression.

However, characters are permitted to bring wildlife onto the ship, provided that the creature or creatures are of reasonable size and small enough to live comfortably in a confined environment.
